Waterform recently completed an ultraBiox™ tank-based wastewater treatment plant for Endeavour Group, an ASX-listed global winemaking and hospitality company.

The wastewater treatment plant is a global first.

The ultraBiox MBBR-SBR hybrid process, a state-of-the-art design to maximise plant uptime and operational stability irrespective of incoming wastewater quality variability, to ensure that the wastewater meets all discharge limits before being reused for irrigation or environmental flows.

The ultraBiox™ wastewater treatment plant includes a range of treatment processes, including screening, hybrid biological nutrient reduction treatment, filtration with Prism Si4 media & UV disinfection, to ensure that the wastewater is treated to the required standard.

In addition to its impressive technical capabilities, the ultraBiox wastewater treatment plant is also an example of Waterform Technologies' commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Additionally, the treatment process is supported with wastewater storage in the form of Fuchs Oxystar aerated lagoons which provide optimum mixing and oxygen transfer for lagoon applications, especially when dealing with Vintage flows and the need to control odour.

The facility was designed with a focus on minimising energy consumption and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, while also ensuring that the treated wastewater meets all relevant environmental standards.
