Alternative source potable water for abattoir

For years Waterform has been helping our food & beverage clients reduce reliance on mains water, along with lowering operating costs!

A trip down memory lane…GBP Exports in Gippsland, VIC, are sourcing potable water from a low lying dam with high organics, via a Waterform treatment plant. This project was funded as a freshwater source, potable water supply project as under an AQIS license (e.g. #2008/06 – NSFS Ref 16,17), reducing the abattoirs reliance on mains water by over 90%! GBP Exports process lamb & beef mainly for offshore markets.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The foundation of our successful EPCM approach, Waterform conducted extensive raw water bench testing as part of design –  as we do for all clients!
